We are looking for a talented and passionate team-player to join the Digital team as a full-stack developer. You’ll be playing a big part in building the next evolution of our platform as we move to provide extensive new capabilities to our clients, working alongside a strong team of developers, product managers and designers. Your work will contribute to the delivery, reliability, and optimization of the core digital application, leveraging the latest JavaScript based tooling and best practices.

You will also have an opportunity to learn and expand our AWS/GCP infrastructure and Dev Ops pipelines. • Work with a team of skilled software engineers creating a rapidly evolving consumer-facing platform.
• Collaboratively work with others to design front-end solutions and use the tech stack effectively to solve business problems.
• Bring in ideas to the table to make best use of the evolving technology landscape to make end to end developer experience optimum.
• Collaborates with the Designer to automate unit tests, applying development practices such as TDD and Pair Programming - Is responsible for unit testing and system testing their code.
• Proactively identifies technical debt and seeks ways to improve via refactoring of code.
• Coding/Development, Deployment, Maintenance & Support of Technology Solutions
• Develops technical designs that support maintenance and support requirements.
• Applies and leverages code and build management frameworks and tooling provided by the Build Master
• Works with the Environment Analyst to create and configure environments to meet the requirements of the solution.
• Verifies that solution documentation is complete, accurate, auditable, and is traceable to business and / or systems requirements
• Expertise in operating in Agile Methodologies. Two weeks sprints.
• Collaborates with the Scrum Master and the team to develop and maintain the project Kanban System, and develop the Iteration Plan and Release plan
• Assists in the translation of requirements into a story map in collaboration with the Discovery Team

Designs solutions according to the specific needs of requirements being specified during the current iteration only

• University Degree or college diploma in computer science, information systems or a related discipline
• Strong Knowledge of Node.js and Spring Boot, supporting frameworks and best practices
