Position: Lead Software Engineer - Progress ABL
Join SS&C Technologies as a Lead Software Engineer specializing in Progress ABL in Toronto, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on leading project deliveries and optimizing ABL code performance.

As a key player, you will take ownership of project deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, QA, and Dev Ops.

Your role will involve analyzing business requirements, translating them into scalable solutions, and mentoring developers of varying experience levels. You’ll also lead code reviews and serve as the communication hub for resource updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project deliveries through effective team collaboration

• Mentor and coach developers of all experience levels

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with Progress ABL/Open Edge technologies

• Familiarity with XML, JSON, and REST APIs

• Experience in Unix/Linux environments

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes

• Exposure to Git and enterprise tools like Service Now
