Toast is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Toast IQ team. This role involves working collaboratively with Design, Product, and QA teams to develop scalable applications. You will lead initiatives to refine the functionality of our services and provide technical mentorship to enhance team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in creating full-stack software applications

• Lead complex functional improvement projects for users

• Review code and provide design feedback effectively

• Drive discussions on technical architecture and roadmaps

• Mentor team members to foster technical growth

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ backend experience in Java, Kotlin, or related languages

• 1+ year experience with agentic application development

• Skilled in API and service design, including GraphQL

• Strong communication skills on tech topics across teams

• Enthusiastic about learning new technologies
