About the Role

We’re looking for a highly accomplished and senior‑level Forward Deployed Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead the charge on complex AI agentic deployments. The role demands a seasoned technologist and strategic partner who can design and develop bespoke solutions leveraging the Agentforce platform and other cutting‑edge technologies, lead technical engagements, and mentor junior peers.

• Own end‑to‑end technical delivery of complex AI solutions, writing critical code, configuring systems, and troubleshooting issues while guiding junior team members to achieve measurable business impact.
• Take primary ownership of designing, developing, and personally implementing high‑quality, scalable production systems, including AI and large language model (LLM) based intelligent agents on the Salesforce platform.
• Design and build custom intelligent agents directly with customers to meet unique business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing ecosystems.
• Own the entire data lifecycle – from strategic data model design to building efficient processing pipelines and ensuring data is always ready, optimized, and secure for advanced AI applications.
• Identify, analyze, and directly resolve the most complex technical challenges during all phases of solution delivery, from intricate data integration to sophisticated model deployment and agent orchestration.
• Lead the development of bespoke intelligent agents, automate intricate business processes, and craft intuitive user experiences to advance Agentforce capabilities.
• Act as a trusted strategic partner to client teams, translating operational challenges into clear technical requirements and leading technical discussions.
• Perform deep‑dive debugging and root‑cause analysis for complex system interactions and AI model behaviors to optimize performance and reliability.
• Rapidly prototype proofs‑of‑concept and minimum viable products, coding alongside client teams to demonstrate capabilities and gather iterative feedback.
• Directly apply and evangelize engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability across all deployed solutions.

• 5+ years of hands‑on, end‑to‑end delivery experience in professional environments building high‑quality, scalable production solutions.
• Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Expert‑level proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, Python, Apex).
• Extensive experience building and deploying AI/LLM technologies, including LLM integration, advanced AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Llama Index), prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, processing, integration, and analytics with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query).
• Demonstrated entrepreneurship, a results‑oriented attitude, and a proven ability to lead technical initiatives.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements, mentor junior team members, and oversee technical aspects of projects.
• Ability to travel 25‑50% of the time to customer sites.

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Agentforce platform.
• Experience developing and deploying conversational AI solutions within highly regulated industries.
• Expert‑level experience with Apex and/or Python in a professional setting.
• Prior customer‑facing, hands‑on technical lead or architect role.
• Advanced Salesforce platform certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect).
• Deep knowledge across Salesforce CRM (Service, Sales, Marketing Clouds).
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Flows and Lightning Web Components (LWC), including complex custom development.
• Experience contributing to open‑source AI frameworks or libraries.
