Java Full-Stack Developer

Hybrid Work Model

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model:
Two days in-office.

Our team of engineers work with business leaders to define the product roadmap and deliver innovative solutions. We design and develop our back‑end systems and REST APIs that serve hundreds of millions of searches a day, collecting and parsing data across thousands of partners to provide the best deals for our customers.

• Participate in critical projects with direct impact on the evolution of Priceline's business.
• Be part of a cross‑functional agile team that continuously experiments, iterates and delivers on new product objectives.
• Showcase Core Java programming skills.
• Build dynamic, user‑facing features using React/JavaScript and integrate with GraphQL APIs.
• Build low latency and high throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing.
• Compose SQL queries for real‑time data investigation and analysis.
• Understand our codebase, systems and business requirements to effectively make changes to our applications.
• Collaborate and engage in team efforts, speak up for solutions, and communicate respectfully.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering and development experience.
• Experience with Core Java programming.
• Comfort with Spring Frameworks, Web Services, and APIs.
• Front‑end development experience with JavaScript and React, and understanding of GraphQL.
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate workflows (Claude or Cursor preferred).
• Strong SQL composition skills.
• Influencer of Git and Gitflow usage.
• Experience in Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker is a big positive.
• Experience with cloud development, especially GCP and AWS.
• Illustrated history of living Priceline values:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000k CAD. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
