Lead Frontend Engineer

Position: Lead Frontend Engineer at Meltwater
Drive technical innovation as the Lead Frontend Engineer rsee the frontend platform's evolution through team leadership and hands-on engineering across the product.

In this senior role, you will manage a team of frontend engineers while ensuring high delivery quality and influencing the technical direction of our UI. Key responsibilities include owning complex systems, driving organizational initiatives, and shaping frontend architecture to enhance scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of frontend engineers focused on quality and execution

• Own frontend systems from design to production health

• Drive organizational initiatives for design and performance standards

• Define and evolve frontend architecture for reliability

• Identify and resolve performance issues in production systems

Requirements:

• Expertise in React and Type Script at scale

• Proven experience leading frontend teams or technical leadership

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and scalability challenges

• Ability to drive cross-team initiatives in complex environments

• Excellent communication skills for influencing technical decisions
