The Role
We are looking for three QA Automation Engineer Interns to join our team for the Fall 2026 work term.
Join our mobile team and help us build automated test frameworks for our iOS and Android apps! You’ll work closely with the Product Stakeholders, UX designers, Developers, and other QA Engineers in a cross‑functional agile environment. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to and get your hands on a variety of tools, gadgets, frameworks, and technologies. You will learn and shape the world of IoT.
HowYou will Make an Impact
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Execute and analyze automated test results to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand requirements and create effective test plans.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Document test cases and results in Test Rail.
- Track and manage issues using Jira.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving QA automation best practices.
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with PyCharm or similar IDEs.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with Appium or other mobile automation frameworks.
- Exposure to PyTest or similar test automation frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Test Rail and Jira.
- Understanding of Agile development processes.
- Experience with iOS or Android Mobile Development (Swift/Kotlin).

- The target salary range for this position will be around $57,240 - $78,440 CAD depending on experience.
