Position: TVO Media Group Software Developer 2
TVO Media Education Group invites applications for a Software Developer 2, a full-time contract position lasting until March 2027. Engage in digital learning projects using Python, GraphQL, and the AWS Cloud.

This role is pivotal for supporting transformative educational initiatives in Ontario. In collaboration with the Data development team, you will enhance our web applications and contribute to exciting technological advancements in Generative AI and Machine Learning. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior developers and research new software methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate detailed application specifications and software development

• Assess application performance and customer support

• Document business processes and system architecture

• Employ Agile methodologies for project execution

• Research and propose innovative technology solutions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience developing complex applications

• Skilled in NodeJS, Python, and RESTful APIs

• Understanding of various database systems and web technologies

• Strong communication and analytical abilities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
