The expected base salary range for this position is $90/Hr - $100/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Join a high-impact digital transformation initiative within a bank focused on building a brand-new mobile banking platform from the ground up. This platform is part of a strategic shift away from traditional online banking toward a more modern, Simplii-style digital experience. You’ll be part of a core engineering team responsible for delivering a hybrid mobile solution leveraging React Native with iOS-native capabilities, ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.

• Develop and deliver a greenfield mobile banking application using React Native + iOS native (Swift/Objective-C)
• Own the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)
• Build and integrate native iOS modules where needed to support performance-critical features
• Translate user stories and backlog items into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand‑ups)
• Collaborate with product, backend, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality delivery
• Optimize application performance across both React Native and native iOS layers
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision‑making

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands‑on expertise in React Native (must‑have)
• Solid experience with iOS native development (Swift and/or Objective‑C)
• Proven experience building enterprise‑level mobile applications

• Experience in banking or fintech environments
• Experience building high‑performance mobile apps at scale
• Exposure to modernizing legacy platforms or greenfield builds
• Understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
• Experience integrating native modules into React Native apps

• Experience working in Agile environments with strong understanding of:
  • User stories
  • Backlog management

  • Experience working across the full SDLC
  • Strong engineering mindset with focus on implementation and delivery
