Position: Backend Engineering Role at VendorPM
Join VendorPM as a Senior Backend Engineer in Toronto, utilizing your knowledge of Node.js, Type Script, and AWS in a hybrid model to enhance platform capabilities.

As part of VendorPM's engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in improving backend systems for over 10,000 buildings and 70,000 vendors. With a minimum of five years of experience, you will design, develop, and maintain impactful product features while collaborating with leadership and product teams. This role emphasizes enhancing performance and ensuring system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable backend features with Node.js and Type Script

• Optimize system performance using REST and GraphQL

• Improve database interactions with PostgreSQL and AWS

• Conduct code reviews for quality and reliability

• Manage complex data workflows and relationships

Requirements:

• 5+ years in backend software engineering

• Advanced knowledge of Node.js, Type Script, and event-driven programming

• Familiar with AWS and CI/CD practices

• Understanding of API architecture and system design

• Effective communication skills for team collaboration
