Scotiabank is on the lookout for a talented Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the Global Wealth Engineering team. In this role, you'll lead the development of full-stack solutions while providing technical leadership to ensure best practices are followed. Collaborating with agile teams, you will design microservices that enhance performance and secure compliance across applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop full-stack solutions for client applications
• Uphold best coding practices across engineering teams
• Design microservices and integrate with RESTful APIs
• Work with cross-disciplinary teams for seamless execution
• Offer technical oversight in reviews and discussions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• 8+ years of full-stack development experience
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Proficient in modern frameworks such as React and Node.js
• Familiarity with Dev Ops processes and security mechanisms
