At Ashby, this role requires up to two years of industry experience, emphasizing combined UI/UX and engineering skills. You will redesign mobile web applications, implement design systems, and produce polished user interfaces. Collaborating with product engineers, you'll actively contribute to shaping a large-scale platform serving over 100,000 users weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Redesign mobile web app with user research and wire framing
• Build flexible, composable components for the design system
• Improve design scannability for candidate assessment
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on bespoke projects
• Contribute to UI/UX for a large-scale recruiting platform
Requirements:
• Up to 2 years of experience in design engineering
• Proficiency in Type Script and React
• Experience with GraphQL API and Node.js
• Good CSS skills; backend knowledge preferred
• Strong visual taste and collaborative mindset
