Hybrid Senior Software Engineer

Join a dynamic team as a Hybrid Senior Software Engineer in Toronto. Bring over ten years of full-stack development expertise, focusing on cloud solutions and containerization.

This is a six-month contract role that allows flexibility and the chance for extension or full-time conversion. The ideal candidate will have solid problem-solving abilities and a strong knowledge base in Java, NodeJS, SQL, and noSQL technologies.

Experience with cloud architecture and deployment, along with Docker and Kubernetes, is essential as you’ll work closely with stakeholders to implement necessary tech solutions and updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build software with comprehensive full-stack functionality

• Deploy solutions in cloud environments (GCP, Azure)

• Manage Docker containers and deploy applications with Kubernetes

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout development

• Apply Agile methodologies in project development

Requirements:

• 10+ years of full-stack development experience

• Minimum 5 years of cloud and containerized development

• Agile experience as part of software delivery

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and independent thinking

• Familiarity with application security tools is advantageous
