Full Stack Software Developer

RBC’s homeX team is responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining applications that serve mortgages for RBC customers. As a Full‑Stack Software Developer in an Agile product team, you will design, code and deliver high‑quality software solutions, build modern applications to support business growth, and provide technical direction for Angular and Java Spring Boot.

• Build and enhance client‑facing applications following modern software development best practices and coding standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Actively participate in design, development, unit testing and deployment activities.
• Collaborate in a fast‑paced, fun and collaborative Agile team environment.
• Work directly with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
• Understand, interpret business requirements into technical solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Angular for frontend development and ability to integrate with backend systems.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems, refactoring codebases, and migrating to modern architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with Git Hub, Git Hub Actions, Jira, Confluence and Jenkins.
• Experience with Angular and Java Spring Boot for building modern web applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

• Experience with Gen AI developer productivity booster tools.
• Experience integrating backend services using REST or GraphQL.
