Position: Senior Backend Developer at Downtown
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer skilled in Node.js and Typescript for our Toronto office, with a hybrid work model four days a week. This permanent role focuses on crafting scalable backend solutions.

As a Senior Node.js - Typescript Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and managing large-scale applications. Your deep understanding of distributed systems will drive the design of powerful data models. Collaboration across functions and mentoring junior colleagues are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js

• Create optimal data models for large-scale applications

• Implement caching strategies for better performance

• Design distributed system architectures

• Mentor junior developers and engage in tech decisions

Requirements:

• 8+ years in software development

• 5+ years with Node.js and Typescript/Deno

• Expertise in SQL and No
