You'll be a key player in developing our cutting-edge platform that seamlessly integrates sophisticated lead management with advanced underwriting and submission capabilities. We're tackling major industry challenges like rate evasion and fraud, creating a system that puts crucial guardrails around brokerage and insurance carrier processes s role offers the chance to work on a modern tech stack, contribute to a solution with proven traction in Canada, and help drive our expansion into other markets, including critical integrations with leading Broker Management Systems and Insurance Systems of Record.

As a Full-Stack Developer at MyChoice, you'll be working alongside our A+ development team and owning features end-to-end across our tech stack. Your work will be powering the real-time insurance platform that saves Canadians millions in insurance, and you'll help to solve some of the toughest challenges in the insurance industry on the application & underwriting side of things. You'll get to craft slick UIs, build high-throughput REST APIs, and experiment with different AI integrations.

• Must-haves: 6 - 10 years work experience with desired skillset.
• Nice-to-haves: Canadian insurance industry experience will be highly regarded.
• Experience building production web apps (or equivalent open-source footprints).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment. You're comfortable discussing trade-offs and explaining your ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A bias for clean code, great DX, and constant learning.
• Design and UX mindset:
  You care about the user. Maybe you're not a designer, but you have a knack for building UI features that are intuitive and delightful.
• Fluency in written & spoken English.
