Position: Senior Engineer in Server Security at MongoDB
Champion security solutions as a Senior Software Engineer in MongoDB’s Server Security team, focusing on cryptography and network integrity. This role allows for remote or hybrid work in the USA or Canada.

We are in search of an adept Senior Software Engineer to support our Server Security team. You will take charge of building new security features while ensuring code quality and security standards across teams. With a proven track record of at least five years in distributed systems, you’ll address complex challenges and mentor fellow engineers in developing secure code practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new security features in C++

• Collaborate on feature coordination with cross-functional teams

• Uphold security best practices in team coding efforts

• Diagnose intricate issues in distributed systems’ performance

Requirements:

• 5+ years in distributed system development

• Proficient in a compiled language (C++, Rust, etc.)

• Ability to assess design choices in a MongoDB context

• Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Strong communication skills for technical synthesis
