Become an integral part of First National's Quality Assurance team as an IT Software Test Engineer II. Focus on developing high-quality test automation solutions within an Agile Scrum environment.
In this role, you will report to the Manager and Team Lead, working closely within the IT team to build scalable test automation using functional and API testing methods. Your expertise in AI-assisted development tools is essential as you mentor junior Test Engineers and take responsibility for code reviews, maintaining adherence to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain reusable automated test scripts
• Execute automated tests to validate software functionality
• Aid in new IT Test Engineers’ on-the-job training
• Analyze automation failures to identify root causes
• Collaborate with development teams for bug resolution
Requirements:
• 3-5+ years as a Software Development Engineer in Test
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered automation tools
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience in designing robust automation test frameworks
