What You’ll Be DoingYou will be joining the Enterprise Technology team within CIBC as the Junior People Soft Developer. Your responsibilities include supporting and enhancing People Soft applications, focusing on batch processing and system stability. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, implement enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operation of People Soft environments.
How You’ll Succeed- Assist in the development and implementation of People Soft enhancements and customizations.
- Support batch processing jobs, monitor performance, and resolve issues.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for application incidents.
- Collaborate with business users and senior developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to change management processes.
- Perform application and system testing to ensure quality and reliability. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for People Soft applications.
- 2–6 years of People Soft development and support experience. Familiarity with People Soft modules, tools (App Designer, SQR, People Code), batch processing, SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience troubleshooting application issues and performance tuning. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
