Position: Cognizant Full Stack Engineer (Java)
Cognizant is hiring a Full Stack Engineer proficient in Java. This hybrid opportunity mandates 4 days per week at our Toronto office while allowing impactful project work.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design scalable applications that support modern digital platforms. Your expertise in Java (Spring Boot/Microservices), along with Angular or Node.js, will be key in developing cloud-native solutions and integrating robust RESTful APIs. Collaborate with Agile teams while focusing on CI/CD pipeline efficiency and architecture scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based full stack applications

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for smooth operations

• Design system architecture to promote scalability

• Deliver solutions with cloud technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

• Enable CI/CD practices with Git Hub Actions

Requirements:

• 7–12 years of experience in full stack roles

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular/Node.js

• Proven ability in RESTful API implementation

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Open Shift

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
