This position is tailored for third- and fourth-year students specializing in Computer Science or Engineering. You will focus on understanding data lifecycle management and modern architectures while performing hands-on tasks such as data ingestion and coding in Python or SQL. You’ll be mentored by seasoned professionals in the Big Data Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grasp data engineering concepts and tools

• Prepare data samples and perform transformations

• Handle various file formats for cloud-based DBs

• Code efficiently using Python or Scala

• Document processes and workflows in Confluence

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Computer Science co-op program

• Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts

• Familiarity with programming languages like Python

• Understanding of SQL and cloud databases

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
