Software Developer Student Position

Gain real-world experience as a Software Developer Student with Canada Life from September to December. Collaborate with experts to enhance your coding skills through hands-on projects and application support.

This temporary full-time role is targeted at college or university students returning for the September to December term, ideally enrolled in a Co-op program. You'll support software design, development, and maintenance while engaging with modern technologies and seasoned mentors. Expect to troubleshoot application issues and participate in the software lifecycle in an agile team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance software applications in a team-oriented environment

• Participate in design, development, testing, and maintenance phases

• Troubleshoot application issues and implement solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners

• Apply academic learning to technical improvements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary student in Computer Science or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good organizational skills for task management
