Our financial services client is seeking a Senior QA Automation Developer (5+ years) to enhance QA automation using Playwright and data testing within Global Asset Management Technology. This role focuses on developing robust test automation frameworks and executing data quality validation for institutional investment systems.

The position offers visibility across technology and data engineering teams, with potential leadership of future offshore QA resources.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Thursday and 4th Friday of the month, 81 Bay Street, 6 months.

• Playwright automation using JavaScript, Type Script, and Python for web applications
• CI/CD integration for continuous test validation
• Data reconciliation and data testing for Databricks workflows and pipelines
• API testing coverage across multiple backend components
• Manual testing and conversion to automated frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field

• Experience in Global Asset Management, Wealth, or Capital Markets
• Ability to lead future offshore QA automation teams

• Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright for web applications
• Create and execute automated tests for Databricks data engineering workflows
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers and data engineers to define and uphold quality standards
• Analyze test results and document actionable findings
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across frontend and backend components
• Support manual testing efforts as required
