• Take ownership and lead project deliveries through effective cross‑team collaboration
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product, QA, and Dev Ops
• Optimize existing ABL code for performance, maintainability, and reliability
• Lead code reviews and enforce best practices
• Act as a single point of contact for providing timely resource and project updates
• Mentor and coach developers of all levels of experience

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Progress ABL / Open Edge technologies (e.g., App Server, Web Speed, PAS for Open Edge)
• Experience with Progress Character UI (ChUI) in Unix/Linux environments
• Experience working in XML and JSON processing in conjunction with REST APIs
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
• Exposure to enterprise tools such as Service Now, Jira, and Share Point
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes, Agile methodologies (SCRUM), and Release/Change Management practices
• Strong adherence to development standards and industry best practices
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development and automation concepts, with a keen interest in improving engineering efficiency
• Experience with Visual Studio Code is an advantage

Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000
