Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Platform Engineer (10+ years) to support enterprise modernization initiatives using CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native platform engineering.

Join a team driving enterprise-wide modernization initiatives across cloud-native platforms, Dev Sec Ops  transformation, and developer enablement within a large banking environment. This role supports strategic programs including CI/CD platform modernization, Bitbucket to Git Hub migration initiatives, and development of a new Developer Portal and policy-gating framework. The position offers exposure to Cloud Bees Jenkins, Argo Workflows, Git Hub Actions, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Spring Framework technologies supporting enterprise-scale software delivery.

Successful candidates will contribute to foundational Dev Ops platforms impacting hundreds of development teams across the organization.

Location Address:
Hybrid/Toronto - (Tuesday + other day is flexible)

Subject to change: 3–4 days onsite may be required based on business needs

Contract Duration: ASAP to Oct 31,2026 – approx. 3 months (Strong possibility of extension for another year)

Hours:

9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Reason:
Team augmentation to support modernization and software currency initiatives

• 5+ years’ experience in software engineering, development, cloud engineering, Dev Ops, Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years of recent experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GKE.
• Hands‑on experience with at least 2 of the following technologies (in order of preference):
  Java Gradle, NodeJS, Typescript, Python, Golang, Java Maven.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Cloudbees, Git Hub, Git Hub Actions, Argo).

• Experience with cloud technologies: GCP (preferred), Azure accepted.
• Experience building large‑scale IAC‑based deployments in Terraform (or Open Tofu).
• Knowledgeable with policy‑as‑code and deployment gating concepts.

• Collaborate with Development, Systems Testing, Release Management, Security, and Cloud Engineering teams to plan and implement technology solutions.
• Design and enhance cloud platforms, services, and automation components supporting public cloud adoption.
• Build and maintain scalable CI/CD solutions across enterprise Dev Ops platforms.
• Support integration of security, compliance, and governance controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platform performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop maintainable and testable code following software engineering practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for platforms, processes, and solutions.
