Data Engineer II at Restaurant Brands

Join Restaurant Brands International as a Data Engineer II, utilizing your expertise in Python and Apache Spark. This role requires in-office presence in Toronto, ON, five days a week.

In this position, you will develop scalable data pipelines and optimize ETL workflows to manage both structured and unstructured data. Candidates should be skilled in AWS services, specifically S3 and Lambda, and experienced in Snowflake for data warehousing solutions. Your collaboration with data analysts and stakeholders will drive analytics and business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain reliable data pipelines with Python

• Implement Snowflake for effective data warehousing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 2+ years in Python, SQL, and Scala programming

• Experience designing Realtime and batch data pipelines

• Familiarity with Apache Spark and cloud solutions

• Capability to design CI/CD pipelines using Terraform
