• Lead complex mainframe projects and drive end-to-end delivery.
• Craft robust solutions and ensure high-quality code and performance.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy solutions.
• Analyze IMS segments, create detailed designs, and contribute to end-to-end field mapping.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Deploy code and ensure proper implementation within environments such as DB2 processing.

• Proficiency with IBM Mainframe technologies including JCL, COBOL, SQL, DB2, Endevor, File-AID, and CA-7.
• Experience with tools such as INSYNC, Jira, Confluence, and Service Now.
• Awareness of AI tools like Git Hub Copilot and VSCode, with the ability to leverage AI in development.
• Solid understanding of DB2 objects and processing, with the ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot DB2-related issues.
• Strong designer skills: ability to analyze complex data structures, design detailed solutions, and lead development efforts.
• Excellent soft skills: eager to learn independently, adaptable, problem-solver, and comfortable working in a pod with limited mainframe exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with mainframe development, ideally 4+ years in similar roles.

• Knowledge of Kafka and RESTful APIs to enhance integration capabilities.

• Self-motivated learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• No travel requirements for this position.
