Financial Data Engineer

As a Data Platform Engineer, you'll report to the Director of Data and AI within Embedded Finance. This position involves crafting the EMFI Data Application Platform, delivering reliable data products through collaboration with stakeholders. Your technical prowess in Python, Snowflake, and SQL will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to define backend functionalities

• Deploy microservices in FastAPI with clear boundaries

• Create Snowflake applications like stored procedures and dynamic tables

• Define and document RESTful APIs using OpenAPI

• Write optimized queries for diverse data needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field

• 5-7 years of full-stack development experience

• Proven experience in microservices and backend systems

• Knowledge of API design and authorization patterns

• Familiarity with CI/CD and Docker for deployments
