As a key player in their mission-critical VMS application team, you will leverage your strong engineering skills and host environment expertise. You will be responsible for delivering complex mainframe solutions using COBOL, JCL, and various development tools. Expect to participate in all stages from design to post-deployment support while actively looking for improvement and modernization opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, code, test, and implement mainframe solutions
• Support business needs through maintenance and enhancements
• Analyze production incidents for timely resolution
• Ensure high-quality code adhering to enterprise standards
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for efficiency
Requirements:
• 10 years of application development experience
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and batch processing
• Strong knowledge of financial services industry
• Familiar with IBM OS/390, Z/OS, and related tools
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering
