Senior Software Engineer - Okta Extensibility

Join Okta's mission to secure identities as a Senior Software Engineer! Lead the development of cutting-edge solutions for our Extensibility Engineering team, focusing on agile and secure platforms.

As a key player in this role, you will leverage your experience with Node.js, Go, and AWS to design and develop projects that significantly enhance security and scalability for untrusted code execution. You'll also mentor team members, collaborate closely with Product and Security teams, and work to optimize our architecture for the betterment of customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and architect large-scale projects using modern technologies

• Provide mentorship and delegate responsibilities to team members

• Contribute to enhancing Auth0's overall architecture and security

• Work alongside Product and Security teams for platform improvements

• Engage in on-call duties to resolve production issues

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development in distributed systems

• Strong API development experience with REST and gRPC

• Familiarity with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes

• Commitment to high-quality code and user experiences

• Strong collaborative abilities to implement projects
