At Teladoc, you will contribute to our mission-driven engineering team, developing robust APIs and backend services for our virtual care platform. Collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality backend capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain backend APIs and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements
• Develop modular API architecture for seamless integration
• Implement robust data-access layers and performance-aware queries
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and contract tests
Requirements:
• 5+ years in backend software development
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Familiar with relational databases and data modeling
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Knowledge of event-driven or asynchronous systems
