Position: Lead Unity Developer at Zynga
Zynga seeks a Lead Software Engineer focused on Unity and C# in Austin, Eugene, Toronto, San Mateo, Carlsbad, or Chicago. Lead core client technology development and optimize game performance for a casual audience.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will innovate within a motivated, distributed team working on a cozy game experience. Your responsibilities include diagnosing complex technical issues and prioritizing engineering standards while working autonomously. You will enhance core systems and architecture, streamlining future feature roadmaps for the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define core systems and infrastructure in Unity and C#

• Diagnose complex game-wide issues like load times and stability

• Own upgrades and maintenance of third-party libraries

• Implement foundational changes enabling future features

• Produce technical documentation and implementation plans

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent

• 6+ years in the game industry as a software developer

• Expert knowledge in C# and 3+ years of Unity experience

• Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools

• Excellent communication skills in a collaborative environment
