Position: xAI Technical Staff Member Position

In this role, you will be part of a small and motivated team that thrives on engineering excellence and curiosity. As a Member of the Technical Staff, your responsibilities will include developing scalable backend components and frameworks that promote efficiency and resilience. You will also collect and analyze data, collaborating closely with Product Engineering and Interaction Design teams to devise data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and test production services and internal tools code

• Create scalable libraries and frameworks for backend systems

• Maintain and deploy production services efficiently

• Analyze insights drawn from large datasets

• Work alongside engineering and product teams for solution validation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in a related field with 1 year in software development

• Experienced in Java, Scala, Python, NodeJS, and React

• Familiar with scalable services and backend frameworks

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure

• Expertise in probabilistic modeling and safety evaluations
