Automation Engineer

This role involves working as an Automation Engineer with experience in Playwright. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications. The position requires collaboration with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to create and execute automated UI, End-to-End (E2E), Regression, Smoke, and Integration test suites for web applications.
• Experience in integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

• Experience in performing cross-browser and cross-platform testing across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Web Kit.
• Experience in automating API testing and validating backend services using Playwright APIs or tools such as Postman.
• Experience in mentoring junior QA engineers and promoting automation best practices across teams.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Develop reusable test scripts following automation best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives.
