Job Summary:

We’re seeking a senior engineer/SME to design, build, and operate scalable web applications using Java (back end) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript (front end). You’ll lead solution design, own delivery end to end, mentor teammates, and raise the bar on performance, reliability, and security.

Also, who can design, build, and operate cloud native backend services on AWS using Node.js. You’ll lead solutions from architecture through delivery, mentor teammates, and uphold high standards for scalability, reliability, security, and developer experience.

Responsibilities:
Architecture & Delivery
Design and implement robust REST/GraphQL services using Java (Java 17+) and Spring Boot (or Micronaut/Quarkus).
Develop responsive front-end applications using React/Angular/Vue with TypeScript.
Own end to end features across backend APIs, databases, frontend UI, and integrations.
Define API contracts, service boundaries, and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
Ensure high performance, scalability, and observability (profiling, tracing, metrics).

Cloud, Dev Ops & Reliability
Build CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions/Jenkins/Git Lab CI) with automated tests and deployments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation/CDK) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE).
Set up monitoring/alerting (Prometheus/Grafana, Open Telemetry, Cloud Watch/New Relic/Datadog) and drive incident response/root cause analysis.
Apply caching, rate limiting
*** and resilience patterns (circuit breaker, retries/backoff, bulkheads).

Security & Compliance
Enforce secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10), API auth (OAuth2/OIDC), and secrets management.
Implement data protection (TLS, KMS, encryption at rest/in transit).
Support audits and compliance standards (SOC2/ISO/PCI as applicable).

Quality & Technical Leadership
Establish coding standards, testing strategy (unit/integration/e2e), and code reviews.
Mentor developers; lead design reviews and technical roadmap initiatives.
Work cross functionally with Product, QA, SRE, and Data teams to ship outcomes, not just features.

Required Qualifications:

8–12+ years of professional software development, with 5+ years building backend services in Java (Spring Boot strongly preferred).
Strong front-end experience with React (preferred) or Angular/Vue, including state management (Redux/NgRx/Pinia) and component testing.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern build tooling (Webpack/Vite, npm/yarn/pnpm).

Experience with relational and No

SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle, MongoDB/Cassandra); strong SQL and query tuning.
CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) experience.
Solid testing practice: JUnit/TestNG/Mockito for backend;
Jest/React Testing Library/Cypress/Playwright for frontend.
Strong grasp of distributed systems and integration patterns (event driven architecture, messaging, idempotency).
Security fundamentals and practical application (OWASP, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT).
Excellent problem solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Nice-to-Have
Event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ), asynchronous processing, and saga/outbox patterns.
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and managed services (RDS/DynamoDB/Open Search, API Gateway).
Performance and scalability work: load testing (JMeter/k6), JVM tuning (GC, thread pools), frontend performance (Lighthouse/Web Vitals).

Experience with micro frontends, design systems, and accessibility (WCAG).
Fintech/payments or regulated environments; data privacy and compliance familiarity.
Additional languages (Kotlin/Go/Python) and backend frameworks (Micronaut/Quarkus).
