The data engineer will design and maintain the data infrastructure that powers the chatbot’s intelligence. This includes building pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling safe, compliant use of health‑related datasets.

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows in Python
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability across the platform
• Collaborate with AI engineers to support model training and evaluation
• Implement secure data‑handling practices aligned with Canadian health‑data regulations
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing performance

• Strong experience with Python for data engineering
• Hands‑on experience with Airflow (DAG design, scheduling, monitoring)
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and cloud data platforms
• Experience with structured and unstructured data
• Understanding of privacy, compliance, and secure data practices
