Kepler is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in Processing and Algorithms to develop high-quality software for both space and ground systems. With over 5 years in embedded software development, you will design processing pipelines for EO/IR, signal, and image data. This role combines software design, technical leadership, and collaboration to support our next-generation satellites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reliable software for processing pipelines across EO/IR data

• Analyze data from imaging and sensors for actionable insights

• Create onboard software for our satellite fleet

• Design detection and tracking algorithms integrating vendor IP

• Participate in design and code review processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

• Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded topics like concurrency

• Experience with EO/IR, signal, or image processing algorithms

• Strong communication skills and Git proficiency
