As an Embedded Engineering Intern, you will engage with the technical team at ecobee to develop software for cutting-edge hardware products. This role encompasses everything from C++ software development to integration with third-party services like Amazon Alexa and Apple Home Kit. You'll experience a unique challenge every day, working on driver support, OS upgrades, and creating user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop object-oriented software primarily in C++

• Collaborate on low-level drivers to high-level GUI development

• Integrate third-party services for enriched user experiences

• Participate in quarterly hackathons promoting creativity

• Work with cross-functional teams on technology projects

Requirements:

• Enrollment in Computer Science, Software, or Engineering programs

• Proficient in C/C++ development

• Knowledge of object-oriented design and data structures

• Experience with software architecture documentation
