Snaplii is seeking a Staff Engineer with a strong focus on Java development to enhance our backend systems. Lead cross-functional projects and mentor a team that shapes the fintech landscape.
This role requires a hands-on engineer to drive the technical direction and ensure the implementation of high-quality solutions. As a key player, you'll mentor junior engineers, follow best practices in system design, and enhance team performance in a fast-paced fintech environment. Your contributions will support a user base of over 250,000.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain scalable Java services and APIs
• Debug issues and improve system observability
• Conduct technical planning with PM, Design, and Operations
• Mentor engineers and elevate team capabilities
• Contribute across the stack as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Expertise in multi-threading and SQL
• Knowledge of Redis and Spring frameworks
• Familiarity with debugging tools
