Pay Details$69,700 - $98,400 CAD per year.

Job Description- Closely work with the POD team to gain an understanding of business requirements, design and create test plan, test cases, and participate in all aspects of testing including pre‑PI and PI activities.
- Create test case scenarios, write test cases, and perform sprint, SIT, and E2E testing.
- Provide support to the QE lead with tasks and ad‑hoc requests as required.
- Design effective test cases using an automated approach and test design techniques.
- Leverage existing automation frameworks, tools, and artefacts to ensure the testing process is continuous, comprehensive, and fully autonomous.
- Create defects in JTMF and conduct triage.
- Hands‑on experience in Java, SQL, Selenium, code review, and automation.
- Actively work with the Application Development team as a unified team to integrate quality engineering mindset and concepts within the Dev Ops framework and pipeline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of hands‑on experience with mainframe testing using ISPF/TSO, CICS online mainframe screens, and writing queries in SPUFI.
- Hands‑on experience in validating mainframe database IMS DB & DB2.
- Strong knowledge in running JCLs & procedures.
- Experience in validating job logs in spool.
- Strong knowledge of host files (PS, PDS, GDG), copybooks, and file aid/Insync.
- Hands‑on experience in automating mainframe online screens with Java and Selenium.
- Working knowledge of OMR (Options Maintenance Request) for mainframe applications.
- Hands‑on experience with Endeavor version control.
- Hands‑on experience with Jira/JTMF and Confluence.
- Experience with test data management tools is an asset.
- Strong BFS domain knowledge with applications such as investments (GIC/TFSA/RIO/RRSP/Term), deposit accounts, loans, line of credits, debit cards, credit cards, ATM, and POS.
- Experience participating in requirements, architecture, and design specification reviews.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration, and regression.
- Experience working with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities.
- SAFe/Scrum certification required.
- QE‑related certification such as iSQI‑SDET.
- SAFe agile certification is mandatory.
- Cloud certification AZ900 is an asset.
- Graduation/degree/diploma or equivalent experience (e.g., Java, C, SQL, DB querying).
- Any experience with tools like AWS, Azure is an added advantage.
