Responsibilities

Lead a small group of talented engineers building and enhancing features for

Collaborate cross-functionally (Web, API, Design, Data, etc.) to gain a deep understanding of our product, users, and what needs to be prioritised to keep Unsplash thriving.

Develop, pitch and deliver product ideas and improvements that are aligned to business needs.

Promote a culture of ownership, accountability and high standards.

Maintain and evolve our front-end platform, ensuring it meets availability and performance needs of our users, and is optimised for fast and frictionless development.

Support team members in their growth and development, empowering them to achieve their career goals and deliver exceptional work.

Use data to drive decisions, insights and continuous improvement.

Be ready to hit the ground running in a player-coach role.

Comfortable leading a team, and being responsible for the growth, development and performance of team members.

Expert in front-end technologies including Node, Type Script, React, Next.js.

Experience building web applications at scale.

Experience with functional programming.

Meaningful experience building features related to Search, SEO, and Ecommerce.

Qualifications
Strong leadership and collaboration skills with a track record of delivering front-end software ficiency in modern web technologies, front-end architecture, and performance optimization. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and measurable outcomes.
