Responsibilities- Design and development – perform and coordinate complex application programming activities; design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches; lead the design and development of cost‑effective and innovative solutions.
- Strategic planning – develop multi‑year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals; lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
- Leadership – act as an application developer and run code‑review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals; support peer developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
- At least 4 years of C# / .Net development experience with Test Driven Development (TDD, ATDD or BDD).
- Experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, Power Shell, Databricks, ASP.NET, MVC, XML, JSON, .NET Core, Microservices, RESTful API and Unit Testing.
- Minimum 4‑year degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related programming field.
- Asset:
Knowledge of React, Agile, Azure, specifically Databricks, Elastic search, GraphQL and SOLID design principles. - Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to new tools and trends.
