SAP ABAP CRM Developer

Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP CRM Developer to join their project immediately and will run for 3 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in SAP consulting projects (both FI and integration) within the financial services industry, including 1–2 projects with S/4

HANA experience and conversion from ECC to S/4, not just AMS experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support custom code remediation and Unicode adjustments for ECC to S/4
  
  HANA conversions, including ACDOCA table adaptations.
• Develop and performance-tune FI-specific enhancements (document splitting, dunning, payment runs, currency revaluation).
• Build cross module integration interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData) between FI and SD/MM/PS.
• Refactor legacy ABAP into CDS views and AMDP for HANA code pushdown and faster financial closing.
• Create and maintain OData services / BOPF to support Fiori apps for finance users.
• Write ABAP data migration programs (LSMW enhancements, BDCs, mass update scripts) for cutover and open item carryforward.
• Enforce clean core/S/4
  
  HANA coding standards, mentor juniors, and focus on new development not daily AMS support.

• SAP Certification required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
