Our Concord based client is seeking a Senior Developer to modernize legacy applications using .NET and Azure services.

Join a high-impact team driving modernization and application design initiatives within a dynamic hybrid environment. This role leads full-stack development and refactoring across modern .NET and Azure cloud solutions while supporting critical legacy systems. Candidates will play a key part in architecting scalable services and delivering robust enterprise-grade solutions over a 6‑month engagement based in Concord, Ontario

Must Haves

  • 8+ years in
    ** enterprise** .NET and C#
    ** application development
    ** with RESTful APIs and service-based architecture
  • Proficiency with SQL Server
    , T‑SQL
    , and structured data formats such as JSON and XML
  • Hands‑on experience delivering on Azure App Services
    , Azure Functions
    , Logic Apps
    , and Azure Dev Ops (Repos, Boards, Pipelines)
  • Expertise in OAuth2
    , OpenID Connect
    , and secure API design aligned with OWASP Top 10 principles
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with Angular or similar SPA frameworks
  • Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools or AI‑enabled features
  • Knowledge of Kendo UI, Bootstrap, and modern UI fundamentals
  • Understanding of Application Insights, Serilog, and performance diagnostics

    • Responsibilities

  • Assist with requirement gathering to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Design application architecture based on business needs and best practices
  • Develop and maintain web applications, including legacy systems
  • Provide production support and ensure system reliability during working hours
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Coordinate with project managers, users, and team members following agile methodology
  • Lead modernization and refactoring of legacy applications to .NET and Azure services
