Spark Scala Developer – Spark, Scala, Java
Skills: Digital – Apache Spark
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (4 Days WFO)
Role Description / Job Description- We are seeking a skilled Spark Scala Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing data processing applications using Apache Spark and Scala.
- Design and develop Spark applications using Scala.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Proficient in Scala and Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (Core, SQL, Data Frames, Datasets).
- Familiarity with Maven for build and dependency management.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem.
- Working experience in CI/CD, Helios.
- Experience in writing Spring Boot web services and SQL queries.
