Lead Developer: Java & Payment Systems

Drive payment solutions as a Lead Developer skilled in Java and Spring Boot based in Toronto's hybrid workspace. This role requires expertise in the financial services sector.

We are looking for experienced Lead Developers familiar with Java 17-21 along with Spring Boot 3.5-4.1. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in payment solutions, ensuring the effectiveness of systems supported by MS SQL and MongoDB. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview and can commit to four days working from the office alongside remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop payment systems using Java and Spring Boot

• Oversee effective database management with MS SQL

• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka and XML

• Resolve technical issues through proactive troubleshooting

• Create REST controllers and perform JUnit testing

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Java 17-21 and Spring Boot

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes deployment
