This role focuses on defining the architecture behind Rippling's core platform, influencing product direction, and tackling challenges in distributed systems. You will partner closely with engineering leaders to drive both platform strategy and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a senior technical leader within Rippling's engineering organization
• Design reliable and extensible distributed systems for platform support
• Lead major initiatives across various products and teams
• Shape technical direction alongside senior engineering leaders
• Build infrastructure enabling secure AI interactions with real data
Requirements:
• 10+ years of software engineering experience at Staff/Senior level
• Deep expertise in large-scale system operations
• Experience in developing foundational engineering systems
• Strong architectural judgment in complex environments
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Go, or Java
