At Capital One, we seek a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Toronto team. With at least six years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, Java, Angular/Type Script, and Python, you will lead technical design and application development. This role involves mentoring junior associates, establishing engineering best practices, and enhancing the software engineering experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Act as a tech lead and own technical design
• Utilize programming skills across various platforms
• Improve developer experience and internal tools
• Provide mentorship to junior and intermediate staff
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in front-end and server-side application design
• Experience mentoring junior associates
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud products preferred
