Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Java Developer

• Build elegant solutions for the property & casualty insurance industry’s complex business domain
• Improve customer experience for millions of people
• Use AI-native coding approaches and AI-assisted tools to build, refactor, and extend services
• Maintain high engineering standards, tests, and observability

• Minimum 0 - 2+ years of Software Development experience
• Proficiency in Core Java
• Good working knowledge of the Spring framework
• Experience with JavaScript, Type Script, or Python
• Experience building microservices on cloud service platforms (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure) - AWS preferred
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience designing REST or gRPC based APIs
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles
• Understanding of relational database persistence (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
