Position: AI Engineer for Generative Systems
Join Guidepoint's Toronto team as an AI Engineer focusing on Generative AI and advanced analytics. Lead the development of scalable AI applications and transform research capabilities with innovative solutions.

As part of Guidepoint's AI/ML team, you will architect production systems, optimize pipelines, and integrate intelligent solutions. This hybrid role requires strong leadership and technical expertise, particularly in building AI-driven products, ensuring responsible AI practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your efforts will be vital in shaping the future of Guidepoint’s technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and build scalable AI production systems

• Own end-to-end AI application lifecycle and CI/CD

• Optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines

• Integrate LLMs with knowledge repositories and APIs

• Champion best practices in LLMOps and system engineering

Requirements:

• 6+ years in backend software engineering, 4+ with a Master's

• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks

• Cloud experience, Azure preferred, with Kubernetes

• 2+ years building applications leveraging LLMs

• Familiarity with large-scale data processing platforms
